Where does the inspiration for the name Red 10 Creative come from? Only from one of the greatest rugby players of all time: Neil Jenkins. Pontypridd’s
favourite son is a rugby icon in the eyes of many Welsh people. He is a world
record points scorer, a British Lions legend and a true Wales great. Back in
January 1999, when David Roach - Red 10's Creative Director - needed a name for
his company, he found it on his bookshelf. There, on the back cover of Neil’s autobiography ‘Life at Number 10’ was a pristine white ‘10’ set against a blood red background. It symbolized passion and clarity… it also sounded pretty catchy.
Rugby remains one of David’s great loves, writing another. In the past few years he has been fortunate enough to combine both having two sporting biographies published. To find out more about ‘Full Moon’ and ‘In Strength & Shadow’ just click.
And keep watching… there’s more rugby writing coming soon.
